A police cordon is in place at Salford’s Clarendon Park with forensic vans and tents present after a man was ‘seriously injured’.
Police are at West High Street near a grassed area of the park, with police tape along the footpath.
Officers at the scene confirmed a man had been ‘seriously injured’. He has now been taken to hospital where he is in a stable condition.
Police have been at the scene since 11.10am.
