90s Baby Festival

Ronan Keating, Peter Andre and Eternal are just a few of the stars that will headline at the ‘90s Baby Festival’ in Eccles this summer.

The two-day celebration of 90s pop & dance music takes place at the Barton Aerodrome on Saturday July 20 and Sunday July 21 this year.

This family-friendly event promises a weekend filled with iconic artists such as, Blue, Five, A1, Scott Mills, 911, Sonique, Blazin Squad and Dave Pearce.

The event starts at 2pm with acts from the start; last entry time is strictly 5pm.

There will be food and drink available at the site and the festival is expected to end at 10pm.

The historic Barton Aerodrome on Liverpool Road is expected to provide the “perfect setting for fans of all ages to dance.”

The unique airport celebrated its 94th birthday this year on January 30.

Across 80 acres of land, the airport has three buildings with a history of their own, including the control tower which is believed to be the longest operating one in Europe.

The aerodrome is even home to two North West ambulance air services as well as National Police air services.

It look like the aerodrome will be quite busy over summer too as The Jacksons, JLS and McFly are all expected to pay a visit.

Tickets for the 90s Baby Festival are available for purchase via Skiddle.
