The Ammies summer business concluded yesterday with three deadline day signings to help bolster the squad for this seasons promotion challenge.

The day started with the announcement of loan signing Jacob Chapman from Huddersfield Town for the first half of the 22/23 season.

The 21-year-old Australian spent the first half of last season on loan at Gateshead in the National League North, making 31 appearances in all competitions including their run to the FA Cup Second Round.

He has also been called up for Australia’s U23s following his impressive season.

Chapman stated, “Buzzing to be here, a club that is going in a very positive direction and plays great football. Can’t wait to get started.”

Salford’s socials didn’t slow down as they announced midfielder Ethan Galbraith on loan for the season from Manchester United.

The 21-year-old Northern Irishman already knows manager Neil Wood from the Manchester United youth sides.

Salford’s business concluded with the days only permanent transfer of the day as they secured a deal for 22-year-old Englishman Odin Bailey from Birmingham City on a two-year-deal.

The left-footed playmaker has 8 League Two goals to his name across previous loan spells in the division.

Bailey posted to social media saying, “Very excited to be joining a team with such a promising future and I hope to be a big part of that journey. Can’t wait to get started and show everyone what I’m about. Thank you for the warm welcome”
