Salford police are appealing for information for two incidents involving items being thrown at buses at the junction of Broad Street and Pendleton Way.

The incidents are being dealt with by the police, being recorded on Friday 4 July at around 9:10pm and Saturday 5 July 2025 at around 10:40pm.

The first incident on Friday evening, and saw stones thrown at a bus causing the driver’s window to smash.

Following the incident Salford police are looking to identify the group of teenagers involved, and have been described as around 14-15 years old, white, wearing grey and black tracksuits.

One is believed to be shorter than the rest and another wearing a beanie hat.

The GMP would like to contact them to further their enquiries.

The second incident occurred on the Saturday 5 July, at around 10:40pm with another item being thrown at the bus cause a middle window to shatter.

Salford police are looking to identify and speak to a white man wearing a backpack, who was seen in the area at the time and may have further information.

The GMP are also encouraging those who were in the area or on the bus and captured any footage on your mobile, dashcam, or doorbell to contact the police on 101 quoting log 3566 of 04/07/2025 or 3707 of 05/07/2025.
