Each year, VERVE commissions renowned international choreographers to push the limits of movement and storytelling.

And for this year’s performance at the New Adelphi Theatre, VERVE will collaborate with three groundbreaking artists: Luca Signoretti, Thanh-Tú ‘Sattva’ Nguyen and Bosmat Nossan.

The artists will be aiming to bring their own unique vision and voice to the stage though a variety of genres and dance.

VERVE is the postgraduate company of the Northern School of Contemporary Dance and features 16 exceptionally talented dancers from eight different countries.

The talent dances are made up of young artists, who are trained at some of the world’s most prestigious conservatoires, are on the cusp of launching their professional careers and their dynamic performances are at the heart of this diverse and boundary-pushing programme.

Artistic Director Matteo Marfoglia said: “We’re really excited to bring this new triple bill to audiences on the tour. Each choreographer offers a distinct perspective, and we’re looking forward to seeing how these works connect and resonate with people.

“It’s an opportunity for the dancers to push themselves, and for the audience to experience something new and exciting in contemporary dance.”

The VERVE 2025 Tour will visit multiple cities across the UK and internationally. With each performance, aiming to not only push the limits of physical expression but also to spark conversation and reflection on the ever-changing nature of contemporary performance.

Audiences of the New Adelphi Theatre will be able to watch VERVE on Saturday 15 March, the show will commence from 7pm, with the main show starting 7:30pm.

The show will be made through a ‘Pay What You Can’ system, but have asked that guests contribute between £8 and £10 due to the performers being in full- time employment.
