A Salford spiritual wellbeing fair may need a bigger venue in future after its latest packed weekend in Swinton.

Around 30 independent businesses offering holistic therapies and festive crafts turned out for a ‘Mind, Body and Christmas’ fair at Pendlebury Social Club organised by the White Swans Spiritual Centre.

The President of the White Swans Spiritual Centre, Nuno Bastos, expects a bigger space will be needed for their next event coming up in 2026.

Nuno said: “It was a fantastic day and very busy. I am looking forward to future events and to expanding our beautiful community.”

Some of the money generated last Saturday will be donated to local charities, such as the ambulance service. The centre regularly contributes to food banks, Christmas toy drives and Salford Survivors, a domestic abuse charity.

The team at the centre, which was founded in 2020, are very passionate about their work and supporting their community

Nuno added: “My favourite part of this type of work is seeing a smile on everyone’s face. There are many who are grieving and feel helpless, who feel uplifted after we help them.

“I’ll never judge a book by its cover and will always help the next person — no matter what they are going through.’’

Dates for their next ‘Mind, Body and Spirit’ event will be announced soon on their Facebook page.
