Irlam FC are hoping to get back to winning ways tonight as they take on West Didsbury and Chorlton at the Silver Street stadium.
Irlam FC will expect a tough fixture tonight, as the Greater Manchester rival who only sit only four points away from fifth spot in the North West Counties Premier Division.
Last time the two sides faced off was September this year, where Irlam FC won 1-0.
However, fans can expect a close game with the sides drawing 1-1 three times out of the last five.
But with form not on their side, Irlam FC will be looking for a turn in form, winning just one out of their last five games following their victory against FC St. Helens last month, thanks to Jack Mitchell’s first half strike.
However, there will be challenge from their rivals as West Didsbury and Chorlton have won three out of their last five games.
A hopeful victory will push them further up the table into 10th position edging just above Padiham.
This will be the second game for John Mains’ new assistant manager Andrew Langford, after being appointed before Irlam’s clash with Lower Breck.
Declan Daniels’ brace against Lower Breck on Saturday added to his scoring streak.
The forward has now scored five goals in the last four games, scoring against Padiham and two goals against Litherland REMYCA.
A win against their local rivals will be in the mind for manager John Mains, as he aims to propel his side into the top half of the table.
