The Lowry Theatre is set to host the returning stage adaptation of the Peaky Blinders – the Redemption of Thomas Shelby.

The show will take audiences through an adventurous, dynamic, and daring dance performance of the iconic TV show the Peaky Blinders.

The performance will feature an exclusive plot and never seen before characters, going further into depth into Steven Knight’s original story.

The stage performance will give spectators the chance to explore the Shelby family as they navigate the decisions that determined their fate.

With spectators being taken into the world of the Peaky Blinders, they will be taken on a journey by Rambert’s Artistic Director Benoit Swan Pouffer.

The show will capture the thrilling action of the Birmingham streets with a selection of dancers, being allowed to immerse themselves into the world with the live on-stage band playing the iconic soundtrack.

Centring around the Tommy Shelby building his empire, it will offer a new perspective for fans of the loved BBC show.

The adaptation that has featured on the Lowry stage twice before, in 2022 and 2023 and makes it return to this autumn.

The thrilling adaption will be one to look forward to with Rambert’s Artistic Director Benoit Swan Pouffer, who choreographed and directed the production adding: “We are so proud of the success of Peaky Blinders: The Redemption of Thomas Shelby and are excited to see its return.

“As a choreographer, I love that I get to tell these stories through movement and recreate these iconic characters through dance.”

The Lowry will be one of the many destinations that the show will be visiting throughout the year, with the Rambert company finishing their UK tour before embarking on their European and International debut.

The adaptation of the iconic TV series has clearly struck a chord with their beloved fans, which is embraced by the show’s creator Steven Knight, as he said: “I’m absolutely thrilled the Peaky/Rambert collaboration has been such a resounding success.

“So many people came to see the show and so many of them were new to live dance, which is why we all wanted to do this, so I’m delighted that the show is back on the road after popular demand.”
