Families looking for a day out can kickstart their adventure with free workshops and disco sessions at Kargo.Mkt within Central Bay. This entertainment hub offers a diverse range of activities for kids, making it an ideal destination during school holidays.

These include a Mini Disco with Belle from Beauty and the Beast at Kargo.Mkt and the Good Saturdaze Easter Family Social featuring a family silent disco, Lego sessions, and more.

Families can also enjoy a Busy Bunny Crafty Workshop where little craft enthusiasts can create colorful spring paper flower garlands and delicate paper bunny bags.

‘Unlocking the Quays’ Walking Tours for History Enthusiasts

For avid walkers and history buffs, ‘Unlocking the Quays’ walking tours are scheduled every Saturday and Sunday during Mother’s Day weekend.

These interactive tours provide a fascinating journey through the rich history of Salford Quays, covering everything from the Manchester Ship Canal to the revolutionary development of Media City.

11 Central’s festivities

On March 10, treat your family or a special mother figure to a meal at 11 Central in Central Bay, Quayside.

There is a Sunday roast & breakfast menu with highlights like Beef Wellington and Curried Monkfish, or explore the options on their cocktail menu.

Special Mother’s Day and Easter Dining Experiences

Wagamama in MediaCity is treating mothers to a free glass of prosecco or a mindful drink with every main dish on Mother’s Day. MediaCity’s Alchemist is also celebrating with a month-long twisted margarita menu, from Feb 19 –  March 17, they have teamed up with PATRÓN to deliver a twisted margarita menu. Plus, on Mother’s Day (March 10), they are offering a special brunch fit from 10am.
