The Salford based charity, Langworthy Cornerstone, is offering local residents the opportunity to learn new skills in a series of free workshops, as part of the nationwide Festival of learning 2019.

What’s on at Langworthy Cornerstone during the Festival of Learning

A variety of sessions are being made free during a ‘have a go’ taster week from Monday 16th – Friday 20th September 2019. Activities include Tai Chi, Tao Yoga, and group relaxation among others.

John Phillips, Chief Officer of Langworthy Cornerstone said:

“We are delighted to be part of the Festival of Learning this year by showcasing the range of health and well-being activities we can offer to our local community.

“Adult learning is an important part of what we do and we look forward to opening our doors to anyone who is interested in “Having a Go” and helping them to kick-start their learning journey.”

The Festival of Learning 2019, led by the Learning and Work Institute with support from the government, encourages organisations and communities to take part in adult learning activities.
