Greater Manchester Police officer charged with possessing an indecent image of a child

A Greater Manchester police officer has been arrested over the weekend after being in possession of an indecent image of a child.

32-year-old PC Christopher Dunn was arrested after the execution of a search warrant on Sunday night and subsequently charged with the offence.

Dunn will appear before Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court on later today.

The investigation is being managed by the Independent Office for Police Conduct and say Dunn’s arrest is not in connection with any other investigation.
