Cereal has been the most popular breakfast food since the late nineteenth century, with the first ever cereal on the market consisting of heavy bran nuggets which needed to be heavily soaked overnight before they were ready to eat.
Since then, the likes of Kellogg’s, Nestle and Weetabix have all expanded their range of cereals to bring us the wide variety that we have today.
Now cereal is consumed not just for breakfast, but for all meal times, with some people even consuming it for lunch and dinner snacks too.
With the day in full swing Black Milk have announced a competition across their social media, with a lucky winner being able to win 5×2 lots of cereal and a £50 voucher to be used in their café by the end of the day.
