AS Honey G makes it into the third week of live shows- the 2004 Popular Music and Recording graduate is doing Salford proud.
However, there’s more to Honey G than shiny shades and gold chains.
The rapper’s real name is Anna Georgette Gilford and before her debut on X-factor she was the managing director of ARG search, which specialises in IT recruitment consultancy. Gilford revealed on the X-factor ahead of her first audition:
‘’I was brought up around classical music, piano and guitar.’’ But there was nothing ‘classic’ about her first audition.
As Honey G made it into the third week of live shows- fans of the show weren’t happy…
Honey G over Freddie? Honey G over anyone? Please, this is not a singing show #XtraFactorLive

Why is Honey G safe and Freddy isn’t. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU ALL.

Get this stupid Honey G off my TV screen and the worse thing is the judges are stud up applauding her absolute joke #XFactor

But nothing could have dampened the rapper’s mood as she was literally floored when she found out the public saved her.
Honey was also part of Salford University’s netball team. They’re also routing for the X-factor rap star:
”As a team we are always supporting our members both past and present and wanting them to do the best for themselves, Honey G was a member of our team and we’re so proud to support her on her X factor journey.” said Kathryn Evans on behalf of Salford Netball.
Tune into next weeks X-Factor at 8pm on ITV to watch Honey G be the Queen B of ‘Diva’ week.
