A new takeaway is preparing to open at Poet’s Corner.
The new Burger Stop will sit between a Greggs and Spar, a hugely popular spot for locals and university students living in nearby Student Cribs, IQ Student Quarter and Peel Park Quarter.
The Manchester branch is already popular for its loaded fries and burgers, and late-night delivery.
The Salford branch in Seaford Road appears close to completion with the bold light blue signage recently being added.
Burger Stop is yet to announce an opening date.
Student Connor said: “In Manchester as it’s a bigger city, you get a lot of spots but in Salford we could do with some more.”
Another student said: “A new takeaway would probably drain my bank account but depending on the menu I’d give it a try.”
