A Salford suicide prevention charity is set to host a winter celebration to help people dealing with loneliness this winter.

A Winter celebration hosted by Jak’s World will take place on Monday 1 December at Salford Lads and Girls Club in Ordsall to provide support for Salfordians struggling with grief and experiencing painful memories around the festive season.

Everyone is welcome, with the hopes of bringing people together, making people laugh, sharing food and connecting with people from all walks of life in Salford.

Jak’s World Charity has said: “Come as you are, bring your smile, your story, or a small part of your culture to share. Together, we’ll make this festive season a little brighter.”
