Salford City will look to return to winning ways following their disappointing loss last week away at MK Dons against a Bromley side who are unbeaten at home in League Two this season.

The Ammies suffered their first defeat in over a month in Buckinghamshire last month, a loss that saw Karl Robinson’s side slip to 9th in a very congested table, which sees just four points separate them from league leaders Swindon Town.

A fifth away victory of the season on Saturday would see Salford leapfrog their hosts and potentially climb into the automatic promotion places if results elsewhere go their way.

But it will be a difficult task to come away with all three points from South London as Andy Woodman’s Bromley are yet to taste defeat at home this season.

Although The Ammies should have nothing to fear when they walk out at Hayes Lane at 3pm on Saturday, knowing they did pick up all three points in this fixture last season.

Too Cole Stockton’s goals coming either side of a Kelly N’mai strike helped Salford to secure a 3-2 win.

In fact, The Ammies are unbeaten in their last 4 meetings with Bromley, having picked up three wins and a draw in previous fixtures.

Salford boss Karl Robinson will hope forward Daniel Udoh can add to his four goals and four assists this season, but will be aware of the threat posed by opposition forward Michael Cheek, who has already bagged eight goals this season, and is the second top scorer in the division.

Following this weekend’s away trip Salford will play their next three matches at home, including action in The FA Cup and Vertu Trophy, so they will aim to spark a good run of form ahead of a busy festive period with a win over Bromley.
