Langworthy Cornerstone is preparing to host a vibrant celebration marking Black History Month.

The free event, ‘My Culture, My Pride,’ honours the rich heritage and contributions of African and Caribbean communities across Salford and Greater Manchester.

On Thursday 30 October, Salfordians are encouraged to enjoy an afternoon of dance, art, food, film and music. There will be performances from an African dance group and a Gospel Choir.

‘My Culture, My Pride’ is being held to showcase the beauty and strength in diversity. The celebration will begin at 3:30pm until 6:30pm.

Attendees can expect Afrobeats music, complementary snacks and drinks on arrival with African and Caribbean-inspired food options available.
