A police cordon is in place in a Salford neighbourhood after a shooting left bullet holes in the window of a property.

Greater Manchester Police say they were called to reports of a suspected firearms discharge at an address on Lissadel Street in Pendleton earlier this morning.

They say the incident took place between 8.45pm and 9pm yesterday (October 7).

GMP believe the shooting was a targeted attack on the property and has explained that no injuries have been reported.

Bullet holes can be seen in the windows on both the ground and upper floors of the property. Crime scene investigators have been deployed and forensic evidence is being collected.

A police spokesperson confirmed that “At around 9.25am this morning (Tuesday 7 October 2025), we were called to reports of a suspected firearms discharge at an address on Lissadel Street in Salford.

“It is believed that it is a targeted attack and the discharge took place between 8.45pm and 9pm on Monday 6 October 2025.

“No injuries have been reported to us, with no arrests being made at this stage. A scene will remain in place as investigations by our Salford Challenger Team continue.”
