Worsley residents are being invited to step away from the daily hustle and take a well-deserved pause, with the return of a deeply calming sound bath experience hosted by Laura Rose Holistics at Beesley Green Community Centre.
Holistic therapist Laura Richardson is running the one-hour session from 8pm to 9pm from October 89 using calming tones and vibrations to ease stress, tension and anxiety.
Laura said: “I grew up in Worsley and have strong ties to the community. It’s always had such a beautiful, close-knit feel and I’m excited to be offering this space for people to unwind. I’ve now taken the leap to go full-time and open a second venue at Beesley Green, which feels like the natural next step.”
She explained that sound baths are a highly individual experience.
She said: “Everyone comes for different reasons. Some people attend to meditate or relax, others might be struggling with sleep, anxiety, menopause, or mental health.
“You don’t have to be on a ‘spiritual journey’, just stepping away from your phone and being present for an hour can be hugely beneficial. There’s real science behind the power of sound therapy.”
Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket, get cosy and simply let the soundscape wash over them. No prior experience or equipment are required.
Tickets are £13.50 and must be booked in advance due to limited spaces. Bookings can be made here.
Laura currently hosts events at two venues in Worsley:
Beesley Green Community Centre, Greenleach Lane, Worsley, M28 2QW
Sincerity Beauty, 158 Walkden Road, Worsley, M28 7DP
This event is part of a growing wave of holistic and wellbeing-focused gatherings across the Worsley area, aiming to foster mindfulness, connection and community care.
