American singer Angel Snow to play Salford pub in upcoming Midnight Sun Tour
Nashville-born singer-songwriter Angel Snow has announced her new upcoming Midnight Sun Tour, which will take place in October 2025, including a date in Salford.
Snow will play in Salford on the 7th of October at The King’s Arms pub.
Following on from her successful 2024 tour promoting her album, ‘LOW’ and a tribute album to Tom Waits, ‘Yesterday is here,’ Snow released her newest single, Midnight Sun, earlier this year which is the theme of this tour.
Angel Snow has built a career which has repeatedly pushed the boundaries of genre. She has a reputation for crafting haunting, poetic narratives within her music which linger long after the final note.
The single, Midnight Sun, is no different to this, exploring themes of regret and nostalgia, whilst it also hints at a possible upcoming album that continues to blend unflinchingly honest storytelling with hypnotic soundscapes.
Snow’s musical catalogue spans four full-length records over the past 15 years. Her self-titled debut was critically acclaimed, but she did not allow the genre to set the tone for her future records.
For her second record, she leaned heavily on electronic influences, creating ‘Magnetic’ – a collection of lush, ambient, electronic-driven songs that was met with worldwide praise.
For her next full-length album, ‘Low,’ Snow delivered a COVID-inspired collection of songs which included themes of loss, claustrophobia and re-imagined trauma.
This album was the theme of her successful 14-date UK tour in 2024 alongside her tribute album to Tom Waits titled, ‘Yesterday is here.’
The tour will begin on the 2nd of October and will run until the 11th.
