Salford Red Devils fan group ‘The 1873’ have organised a peaceful and lawful protest ahead of the fixture against Warrington Wolves.
The protest will follow the previous march hosted on Sunday 17 August before the fixture against Wakefield Trinity.
And ahead of tonight’s (29 August) fixture, The 1873 are hoping to gather a collection supporters as they head to their 8pm fixture against The Wire.
Before the game, the fan group have encouraged those in attendance to meet 6pm by The Hawthorne in Warrington on 40 Orford Lane, WA2 7AF.
The fan group will then begin the march at 7.15pm and will head towards the second meeting point at The Rodney.
From there the fan group will then head to the Halliwell Jones Stadium, encouraging those in the march to join together to raise “flags high, banners flying, voices loud.”
They continued to share on social media: “This is our club, our colours, our pride.
“A game of celebration for our club, our history and our future. Warrington away, we stand together.”
🗣️ A celebration of our club, our history and future. A protest against the clubs ownership and ongoing failures.

And with the worries continuing for the fans, as the on-field and off-field situation develops – the fan group have encouraged the fans to show their support.
As the supporters group continued: “This is more than just a game. It’s about everything we stand for.
“We need every voice, every chant and every ounce of passion in that away end. Let’s show them exactly what following this club means.
“Be loud. Be relentless.”
