Salford City have announced the signing of experienced defender Michael Rose, joining the Ammies on a three-year deal.
The 29-year-old centre-back began his professional career at his boyhood club Aberdeen, before going on to make nearly 130 Championship appearances during recent spells with Coventry City and Stoke City.
Whilst at Coventry, Rose played a key role in their League One title success in 2020, helping his team keep 13 clean sheets in 30 starts on their way to promotion back to England’s second tier.
That 2020 success was his second title having previously achieved the same feat at Ayr United in Scotland’s League One in 2018.
He will now join Karl Robinsons’ Ammies, who are searching for promotion to the Sky Bet League One this season – following last seasons disappointment.
