Sounds ‘Round Town’ reaches Irlam and Cadishead this weekend, as part of a summer packed with music, art, workshops, and parades.
The free summer experiences are part of several of the city’s most loved events, following on from Weaste Pride and Eccles Fest.
The summer experience will continue at the Irlam & Cadishead Festival on the August Bank Holiday weekend, starting on Saturday 23 August and will run until Monday 25 August.

And Sounds ‘Round Town will be joining the party on Sun 24th and Mon 25th August (Bank Holiday) with an interactive marching band parade.
Sounds ‘Round Town has done the business at three successful Salford events this summer, and the fun will continue, following the already successful Sounds From The Other City in May, the 20th anniversary of the multi-venue festival, and the Swinton Sounds hosted in June.
The festival hosted in Irlam and Cadishead will also return for its 75th anniversary and will be looking to bring people together once again.
The free festival will be hosted from Friday 22 August until Monday 25 August with market stalls, live music, sports, street theatre, free activities, a firework display, and more.
For the 75th anniversary, they will host an amazing firework display on the evening of Monday 25th August at 9pm – a memory that lost before COVID.
