Salford Red Devils have announced that Harvey Wilson will leave the club at the end of the 2025 season to join Catalans Dragons.

The prop will move to the south of France on a two-year deal and will see him join Joel Tomkin’s squad for the 2026 and 2027 season.

The move will see him become the third signing for Catalans next year after half-back Toby Sexton and centre Solomona Faataape have also made the switch, moving from the NRL.

Harvey Wilson, 21, joined the Red Devils last year from Wigan Warriors and made 22 appearances for the club, becoming a powerful presence in the forward pack.

The young man was able to develop his skills as a player and establish himself firmly in the league in Salford colours.

And following the announcement of the move, Harvey said: “I would like to thank everyone at Salford for their support during my time at the club. I’ve really appreciated the opportunity to be part of the team and to play in front of the incredible fans.

“While I’m excited for the new challenge ahead, I’ll always be grateful for everything this club has done for me.”

And ahead of the move, Catalans head coach Joel Tomkins shared he was happy with the move, and excited for the future.

He said: “Harvey will be another exciting addition to our squad. I know he will raise our standards in training and increase competition for places in every position in the forwards.

“His versatility will be a big asset for us next season.”
