A popular Salford burger chain is closing two of its outlets to focus on its flagship store.
That Burger Place is closing its Walkden and Bury locations to concentrate on its base in Bolton Road, Salford.
Co-owner Ryan McDermott and his wife Megan aim to focus on bringing the highest quality of service to their original customers.

They say they want to “stay true to not just the origins of the brand but ourselves as people” in the heart of the community.
The couple opened their first location in 2017 and have been able to come a household name – amassing more than 21,500 Instagram followers.
The chain has been nominated twice for national awards for its trademark Los Angeles style smash burger.
That Burger Place announced on social media: “As a married couple who work together there’s just no breathing room from the business when it’s in three locations.
“There’s no date night, family gathering or holiday where we can fully switch off and ultimately you can only do that for so long before it takes a toll on your mental and physical health.”

They continued: “Expanding is brilliant and we’re so proud that we did it but in truth we stretched ourselves too thin and as our customers you deserve better from us.
“We realised we needed to focusing solely on one location and for the past 12 weeks that’s exactly what we’ve done.
“If you’ve been into the Salford store or ordered from us recently you’ll already know we’re back in-store running things hands on and TBP (That Burger Place) is on it’s A game.”
The couple are also going back to their original recipes and perfecting the products in 2025.
The statement said: “It’s almost like we’ve started from scratch.
“We’re even back with our British butcher from the Swinton store days to give you the highest quality grass fed beef every time you bite into our burgers.”

They continued: “Alongside this we want to personally give you incredible customer service. We are back running our socials, enjoying meeting you guys, chatting about burgers and getting you to fall back in love with the TBP experience that was humbly born in the back streets of Swinton almost 10 years ago.”
And when making the decision of what store to keep, they thought about what about would be best for them, and what is closest to their hearts.
“So when we decided which store we’d keep open we both went with where our hearts are: SALFORD.
“We’re both Salford kids and wanted to stay true to not just the origins of the brand but ourselves as people and that’s why TBP on the Height is our flagship store and always will be.”
