Salford police are appealing for information after a man in his 40s was taken to hospital with life-changing injuries following a road traffic collision on Littleton Road.
At around 12.35pm yesterday (Monday 21 July 2025), police were called to reports of a road traffic collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian on Littleton Road in Salford.
A man tipper truck reversed along Littleton Road and collided with a pedestrian who was working on the road.
The victim – a man in his 40s – was taken to hospital with life-changing injuries.
A man in his 50’s has been arrested in relation to the incident and has since been bailed pending further investigations.
The Serious Collision Investigation Unit are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
They are also keen to speak to anyone who may have any footage, including dashcam, mobile phone or doorbell footage, from the area in the moments leading up to the collision.
