Salford man in his 50s found with knife wounds

Multiple police officers and vehicles attended a Salford street late last night, after a man in his 50s was found with knife wounds.

Emergency services were called to Capella Walk, Salford, just off Lower Broughton Road, after 10pm last night (Sunday 6 July).

A man in his 50s was found with stab injuries.

Paramedics were able to treat the man at the scene and he is reported to be in a stable condition in hospital.

Officers recovered a knife from the scene. 

Crime Scene Investigation officers were continuing their investigation today.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
