Salford City have announced their second signing of the summer, with central defender Adebola Oluwo joining from Barnet.
The Ammies have signed the 25-year-old defender on a two-year contract after a couple of successful seasons at Barnet.
During his spell in North West London he was able to impress playing 36 league matches last season, being involved in fourteen clean sheets.
And his efforts being rewarded as they crowned themselves champions of The National League and achieve promotion back to the Football League.
In addition to this, Adebola Oluwo is no stranger to playing in sides competing up at the top end of a table, having helped Barnet make the play-offs in the season prior to their promotion.
He was also part of the Chelmsford City side which secured a National League South play-off finish at the end of the 2022-23 campaign.
As well as that the new arrival of the centre back will be a perfect replacement for Curtis Tilt, who announced his departure on Wednesday 4 June, where he will be joining Bradford City.

And with Olowu being the latest arrival at the club, he is hoping to bring his success from the previous campaign to Salford, as he said: “It was an amazing feeling last season.
“It was the first time I have been promoted as well so it was a new experience for me, and it is something that I want to do again and hopefully replicate here with Salford.
“Competing for promotion is quite a pressurising situation, so it is good that I have experienced it a few times now just to know how to handle it and how best to conduct myself.”
He continued: “I feel that the way you are can also affect other people around you, so because I have that experience, I feel that I know how to impact other players around me in a positive way as well.
“I just cannot wait to get started here, and because I have had that taste of promotion last season, I really want to go do it again here at Salford.”
His ambitious mentality is exactly what the club will need following a sad ending to the season, narrowly missing out on the playoffs on the final day.
And with a recent experience of promotion, he will be bringing hope to the squad, which is exactly what Karl Robinson will be hoping for from his newest defender.
