Swinton Lionesses suffered their first league defeat of the season losing 6-34 after a visit to the London Broncos.
The tough defeat saw the Lionesses lose to the London Broncos, resulting in the home side slipping down from second in the league to first.
While the dominant victory for the Broncos saw them hold their position at the top of the Championship league table.
Despite the defeat, the Lionesses have had a solid start to the season beating Hull FC 38-12 and convincingly beating Bradford Bulls 34-6.
However, during the match Swinton could never get into the swing of the game unlike their previous matches.
The Broncos broke through their defence just too many times against Swinton and they couldn’t compete.

And even though the Lionesses managed to score a try, it ended up being too much of a challenge for them – with the Broncos creating a sizable gap.
The Lionesses will be hoping that this is a bump in the road, as they have shown lots of skill through their earlier matches, as the Broncos dominant scoreline reflects their current form.
Swinton Lionesses next play against Cardiff Demons on Saturday 1 June, who are sitting second in the league, with the battle expected to be another tough fixture.
