Following the victory Suzanne Roberts, opened the Red Hot Flames Cheer and Dance Team in 1996, said: “We are beyond thrilled to share the incredible results from our recent two week journey to the Dance Worlds and The Summit Championships in the USA.

“It has been a whirlwind of passion, performance, and pride and we’re still pinching ourselves. This is a brand-new discipline for us, and to see the team kick their way to gold in their debut is nothing short of extraordinary.”

And despite the new discipline, the Senior team continued to have success in the Variety category a discipline that showcases multiple dance styles within one routine.

The Senior team team at Red Hot Flames also delivered a phenomenal performance, placing second.

However, that wasn’t the only success for the Salford team in America, as Suzanne said: “Our Junior team Ignite also achieved remarkable success, placing 4th in the world in an extremely competitive division (Junior – Pom – Large) earning their place on the global stage!

“All of these world class routines were choreographed by our incredible head coach, Shannen Hook. Her vision, creativity, and leadership shaped every moment on stage.

“More than just an exceptional choreographer, Shannen is a truly wonderful person inside and out and we are so lucky to have her at the heart of our team.”

Suzanne continued: “It’s hard to put into words just how special these past two weeks have been. The hard work, dedication, and spirit of every dancer and coach has made this an unforgettable chapter in our history.”

And that wasn’t all for the Red Hot Flames, during the trip in America they were able to make the finals in The Dance Worlds and were able to leave with a ranking of 12th in the world.

“For the team, it’s not the end it’s just the beginning. We’re more motivated than ever to raise the bar and return even stronger. The dancers are already buzzing with excitement, and there’s a renewed hunger in the studio that’s simply electrifying.”

Suzanne continued: “This achievement is the result of pure passion and dedication. Every single person involved has played a part and now, standing as one of the top teams in the world, we know it’s all been worth it.

“A tremendous amount of hard work and dedication has gone into making this trip possible from intensive training sessions and fundraising efforts, to the unwavering support from our coaches, families, and wider community.”

And with the opportunity to showcase their talents on the world stage, it has been a inspirational trip for the team, as Suzanne said: “Competing alongside teams from around the world has not only elevated our performance but also strengthened our unity and pride as a team.

“We’re incredibly proud of how far our team has come, and we’re excited to bring that energy and experience back home to Salford.”

And as the team head into their 29th season, it seems that the team look to continue their success for another year.

She added: “And now, with hearts full and heads high, we’re already preparing to launch our 29th season inspired, motivated, and more passionate than ever.
