Salford-born streamer Angry Ginge’s Baller League side remain unbeaten after winning 3-0 against a team managed by Gary Lineker, Alan Shearer and Micah Richards’.
The Salford born influencer continued his winning run and made a statement with a 3-0 win beating the fellow unbeaten side Deportrio FC, to remain the only team with a 100 percent record.
AngryGinge’s side won the game to stay top of the table, thanks to goals from Razzaq Coleman De-Graft, Henry Ochieng and Tyler Winters.
Coleman De-Graft’s goal came in the 14th minute, cutting in from a wide-angle. Coleman struck luck to hit the post which sent the ball into the back of the net to give Ginge’s side the lead.
Yanited FC’s second goal came from a misplaced pass by one of the Deportrio FC’s players straight into the grasp of Coleman De-Graft who then took on two players, slotted the ball over to Henry Ochieng who fired it into the bottom corner on 20 minutes.
It was the same story again for Ginge’s team, as they stopped a counter attack from Deportrio, with Mauro Vilhete putting in a great tackle to win possession back, before beating his man and playing a beautiful, lofted ball over to Tyler Winters, who took his time, taking it around the keeper to slot it home into the bottom corner.
The Baller League arrived in the UK at the start of this year, after being successfully held in Germany first.
Angry Ginge, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, was invited alongside football royalty including Robert Pires, John Terry and Gary Lineker, as well as social media stars such as the Sidemen’s Miniminter, KSI and TBJZL.
The matches consist of two 15 minute halves, featuring players who used to play professionally or have been let go by academies, as well as futsal players.
And the Salford social media star has made a very strong impression in the competition so far – and looks to continue his winning form as he awaits the next round of fixtures.
