Salford City prepare for Doncaster - Salford City

Salford City will prepare for a trip to Notts County this Friday, as they make their final push for the playoff places.

With only six games remaining in the season, the Ammies will be looking to maximise all the points they can get in their push to secure a playoff spot.

The Ammies, with a game in hand, will be hoping to capitalise on the chance to climb the league table, as they come against a Notts County side also aiming to hold their place in the playoffs.

Karl Robinsons’ side are walking into the fixture unbeaten in four games and they will be looking to continue that run, but with back-to-back draws they will be hoping to turn them into three points.

And after a tough battle against Gillingham, Karl Robinsons’ side will be looking to collect three points and put pressure on the teams above who will be looking fearfully at the Ammies additional game.

And with Salford City travelling away, with the memory of the home victory against Notts County in December – with Karl Robinsons’ side winning 3-0, something they will hope to replicate tomorrow night.

But with The Magpies sitting ten points above their Friday night rivals, it looks to be a fiery affair for both sides than the previous fixture.

As this will be proven by Notts County, who will be walking into the game hoping to redeem themselves after a weekend defeat to Colchester 1-0, and with all the statistics suggesting they should have walked away with at least a goal.

However, this is something that Salford will have to prepare for, as Karl Robinsons’ side have failed to keep only one clean sheet in the last ten games.

And with Notts County not afraid to attack the Ammies net it will be an interesting battle between the two clubs – and with both teams having something to play for it promises to be a great game for travelling spectators.

The game will kick-off on Friday night at Meadow Lane, with the game set to start at 19:45pm – more information about the fixture can be found here.
