Salford City will prepare for a difficult challenge this weekend as they play promotion rivals Bradford City.
The Ammies will be tested this weekend, hoping to get back to winning ways, playing the team in second place in an early kick-off.
Karl Robinsons’ side have only managed one win in the last five games, struggling for form since the turn of the New Year.
And with this being the third consecutive game against a promotion rivals, Salford City will be hoping that they can turn their form around this weekend.
Defeats to Port Vale, 2-1, and AFC Wimbledon, 1-0, the Ammies will have a tough uphill battle to get back to the distant December form.
And despite showing their ability to battle with the top teams in the league – they will be desperate to get their third win of 2025.
Fans should not be too concerned as the Peninsula Stadium has become a stronghold for the Ammies, with five wins and two draws in their last eight home games.
However, a victory against Bradford City will be no easy task as the early kick-off will see Bradford City travel to the Peninsula Stadium in incredible form.
The Bantams have only dropped two points in the last five games, drawing to 0-0 to Newport County with 10-men.
Currently sat in second position, Graham Alexander’s side have been a triumph in the league this season, with their last league defeat coming before Christmas in a 3-0 defeat to Notts County.
And with their rampant form in the division, they have been able to nestle themselves into the automatic promotion places – a position they would want to maintain.
However, with both sides having something to play for this weekend, it will be a fantastic challenge who were evenly matched at the beginning of the season.
The lasting meeting between the two sides came in the second game of the campaign, sharing the points in a 0-0 draw – both sides will be looking for a little more than that this time round.
