Tickets for the Women’s Rugby World Cup games in Salford are now live

Tickets to the Women’s Rugby World Cup games in Salford are now live, with four fixtures taking place at the Salford Community Stadium. 

The stadium will feature four games during the international rugby tournament which comes to the city of Salford this August.

The Salford Community Stadium will be one of the six locations hosting the pool matches which include Salford, Exeter, York, Sunderland, Northampton and Brighton and Hove, with over 220,000 tickets already sold.

The tickets were announced by Salford City Council earlier today – and will be a perfect opportunity for rugby fans to be entertained by world-class rugby players.

The games to be featured will be teams from Pool A and Pool B, with the fixture taking place on Saturday 23 August and Saturday 30 August 2025.

Games will feature Australia vs. Samoa (Pool A) at 12:00pm and Scotland vs. Wales (Pool B) at 2:45pm on Saturday 23 August.

And the following weekend fixtures will feature Canada vs. Wales (Pool B) at 12:00pm, and Scotland vs. Fiji (Pool B) at 2:45pm.

The Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 marks a significant milestone with an expanded format featuring 16 teams, up from the 12 teams that participated in the previous tournament in New Zealand, back in 2021.

Salford will play a vital role in hosting games during the tournament, contributing to the broader development and visibility of women’s rugby in England.

England automatically qualified for the tournament, as the host nation, and are the favourites to win, however, New Zealand poses a big threat having won six titles.

The opening game for the tournament will see England versus the United States in Sunderland’s Stadium of Light at 19:30 on Friday 22 August, followed by action at the Salford Community Stadium on Saturday 23 August.

Tickets are available as well as group ticket requests for selected matches for groups of 20+ alongside RWC experiences at the games.
