Salford City owner Gary Neville has shared that David Beckham is “sorting” his tattoo for his 50th birthday.
Neville’s former England and Manchester United teammate, and co-owner of Salford City, David Beckham will be celebrating his birthday by getting him his first tattoo.
Gary, who turned 50 on Tuesday 18 February, celebrated his latest birthday on the Stick To Football podcast along with former Lioness Jill Scott and ex-players Ian Wright and Roy Keane.
In the episode, he read out his list of plans for his milestone year including going to Glastonbury, Octoberfest and travelling around Scotland in a campervan.

However, Neville also shared that he “get a tattoo” and when asked what kind added: “I don’t know, I think Becks (David) is getting the tattoo for my birthday, I think, because he’s a specialist in tattoos (isn’t) he?”
Neville clarified that he needs “to meet the (tattoo artist) guy”, and was thinking of getting his arm inked, which could feature “writing” or the “united England thing” of a devil, a nod to the Red Devils, and a lion, a reference to the Three Lions.
Gary Neville and Beckham shared many years together at Manchester United and England, with Beckham starting his professional football career as a part of the class of 92.
While Gary would stay at Manchester United, Beckham would go on to become a global footballing icon playing for teams including Real Madrid, AC Milan, LA Galaxy and PSG.
However, it seems that the pair have remained close friend with Neville being Beckham’s best man at his wedding to Spice Girl, Victoria Beckham.
And they have since go on to be business partners, as in 2014 former Manchester United players Nicky Butt, Ryan Giggs, Gary Neville, Phil Neville, and Paul Scholes purchasing 10 per cent each of the ownership of Salford City.
With teammate and friend David Beckham joined the group in 2019 buying a further 10 per cent of the club from former owner Peter Lim.
Gary will now be celebrating his 50th birthday, and it will be interesting to see what decision he decides for his first tattoo.
