Pride and Prejudice* at the Lowry - Lowry

The Lowry audiences will be able to experience the 1800’s as Pride and Prejudice* (*sort of) returns by popular demand. 

The show will be returning to the Salford theatre after the triumph at the West End, visiting between Tuesday 18 until Saturday 22 March.

Guests will be able to watch the unique and audacious retelling of Jane Austen’s classic love story, Pride and Prejudice* (*sort of).

The show seemed to prove itself a success, winning the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Comedy – and will return by public demand.

Men, money and microphones will be fought over in this irreverent but affectionate adaptation where the stakes couldn’t be higher when it comes to romance.

The show features a string of pop classics including Young Hearts Run Free, Will You Love Me Tomorrow and You’re So Vain.

Directed by Olivier and Evening Standard Theatre Award Winner Isobel McArthur – will be one that Salford audiences won’t want to miss. 

The initial production of the show stared in Scotland in 2018, and its success turned into  a tour in 2019, it continued and developed success allowed it to opening the West End in 2021 and toured again in 2022-23.

The return tour to the Lowry will see Emma Rose Creaner, Eleanor Kane, Rhianna McGreevy, Naomi Preston Low, Christine Steel, Isobel Donkin, Susie Barrett, and Georgia Firth.
