As half-term approaches and is set to start in Salford from Monday 17 February there will be a range of activities across the city to entertain everyone.
And as the school break begins next week, there will be a variety of opportunities to participate in, including creative and affordable activities for as low as £1 per child.
Throughout the half-term Salford Museum & Art Gallery are offering a range of creative activities, and participants can get involved with art and painting sessions.
Those who attend will also be able enjoy a lucky dip and create a Victorian peg doll, and guests will be able to enjoy the sessions on Tuesday 18 February.

Sessions will take place from 11am, 1pm and 2pm – the experience will cost guests £3 per child, with booking required that can be found here.
As well as that children across Salford will have the chance to go back to Tudor England.
Visitors will be able to meet a Tudor Servant and learn how they ran their households in the 1500s.
Attending visitors can also learn how they help keep the house running behind the scenes and make a beeswax candle to take home

Throughout half-term Salford children will be able to attend intensive swimming lessons will be offered across Salford during the holidays.
Sessions will be held at the Broughton, Eccles, Irlam & Cadishead, Swinton & Pendlebury and Worsley leisure centres.
Children and parents who wish to attend can book online on the Salford Community Leisure website.
As well as that free holiday camps are also being provided to children in Salford, with a ‘range of fun activities, including football, dance, basketball, drama, hockey arts and crafts’ and much more.
These will be hosted at Saint Patricks High School, Ordsall Leisure Centre, Irlam & Cadishead Academy aswell as Moorside High School.
Salford residents will also be able to enjoy the half-term festivities and will be offered a selection of street dance, ballet, tap, freestyle, and more.
Children enjoying the half term will be able to explore contemporary and movement classes for young people and adults with a disability – with those interested in dance being able to find more information here.
