Weaste & Seedley Salford Social Club - Ian Carberry

A social club in Salford is set to host multiple nights full of entertainment that will include drag bingo, music and games this month.

The Weaste & Seedley Social Club is hoping to set up two nights of fun allowing people in the community to come together to connect, and unwind.

The first of the two events across February and March will see the social club offer its space to hopeless romantics and lovers of camp chaos.

The club will open its doors on Saturday 15 February for a night of music, games, and romance-fuelled entertainment.

Weaste and Seedley Social Club will be hoping to encourage anyone to attend, whether coupled up, flying solo, or just bringing friends – promising a playlist packed with singalong classics.

Guests can expect everything from Stevie Wonder to Whitney Houston, plus the chance to step up and take the mic.

Doors will open at 7pm, and will allow guests to join come together, and continue until they “can’t sing another love song.”

And the entertainment from the social club will then continue a month later, on Saturday 15 March, as Drag Bingo Night take over the venue.

Hosted by Trudi Night, a drag performer known for her sharp whit and high energy stage presence, the evening blends comedy, camp, and competitive spirit.

Guests will be able to attend the event with doors opening from 7:30pm – and should expect theatrical performances, audience banter and plenty of surprises throughout the night.

Those in attendance will also be able to win a variety of prizes in and amongst the evenings celebrations.
