With February 14 quickly approaching, residents can enjoy a wide variety of events in Salford for Valentine’s Day this week.
There are activities for all to participate in, whether that be with a partner or friends, including karaoke, games and tribute acts.
In the run up to Valentine’s Day, Friends of Buile Hill Park is celebrating at The Pavilion, with games of bingo from 12.30pm on Wednesday February 12. The group is made up of volunteers working alongside Salford City Council to create a welcoming park for all to visit.
There is a Valentine’s event at Pendleton Ex Services Social Club, with tickets from £5 to see a Gary Barlow tribute and DJ Chris Hudson.
It will take place on Saturday February 15 and tickets can be purchased from the duty stewardess. More information can be found on their Facebook page.
Weaste and Seedley Social Club is hosting a Valentine’s Day Party on Saturday February 15, with music, games and karaoke from 7pm. They encourage participants to “bring your mates, your date, or fly solo”.
Guests can expect everything from Stevie Wonder to Whitney Houston, plus the chance to step up and take the mic.
Many restaurants will be open in Salford for Valentine’s Day. Leopard Pie, Vero Moderno and Noir Steakhouse are recommended for those wishing to dine out.
