A brand new state-of-the-art trampoline park is set to open its doors this February in MediaCity.
The new £2.5 million trampoline park, Oxygen Activeplay will open to the public for the first time during the February half-term.
The venue that has been constructed over the course of 20 weeks, replacing the former site of the I’m a Celebrity Jungle Challenge.
Opening to the public on Monday 17 February, the site will encourage children and families to visit and stay active through the easily accessible parks.
Oxygen Activeplay in MediaCity will join the 12 other venues across the UK, and will introduce a new world of play to the children of Salford.
The facility will offer residents a full list of activities to stay entertained with 24 epic trampolines, a mega-airbag, and an inflatable park.
The trampoline park will also feature a high ropes course, that will leave guests the challenge of navigating across six challenging crossings.
Thrill-seeking guests of the new park will also be able to be entertained by the Sky Rider aerial ride, taking flight and soaring over the park on a harness.
The park will also offer an interactive Strike arena, where players can form a team or take on a solo mission, to navigate their way through obstacles to strike lit-up targets and score the most points.
And for parents taking children under the age of five, will be able to attend the dedicated Toddler Venture zone, where toddlers can bounce, climb, learn, and play at their own pace, in a safe and exciting environment.
There will also be daily sessions, specifically designed to support toddlers’ (under 5s) development as well as regular Peaceful Play sessions for those with sensory needs or learning difficulties.
The trampoline park will also be hosting their Neon Night parties, where the lights are turned down low, the music is pumped up and the disco neon lights are on full blast.
The parties will be held every on the first Friday of every month at Oxygen at MediaCity, allowing for jumping, games, dancing and competitions from 6.00pm until 8.00pm.
