A beloved cafe in Monton has announced that they will be closing their doors this weekend for the final time.
The Bread Club in Monton shared the news on social media that they will be shutting on Saturday 21 December.
The cafe based on Monton Road in Eccles, will be shutting after three years of serving the community.
Louise from The Bread Club said: “It’s with a sad heart I’m writing this, due to personal reasons we are unfortunately closing The Bread Club 21st December.
“I would like to thank each and everyone of you for supporting us the past three years it means more than you will know.”
She continued: “To my amazing BC (Bread Club) team for supporting me and for all your hard work and dedication I will always be grateful for you all!”
With the doors shutting, she continued to share her gratitude towards the community support.
“We will miss chatting and making you your lunches! A hell of a lot of you have a became friends not just customers we will miss you all so much!”
The local Monton cafe are welcoming people to come down before they shut their door for the final time on Saturday.
Serving an array of sandwiches, milkshakes, coffees, and array of sweet treats.
The Bread Club clearly had an effect on the local community, with residents and visitors shared their sadness after hearing the news of closure.
One comment from Beth Fallon said: “Our Sunday morning’s will never be the same again.”
Fiona Harris added: “So sorry to hear this. Amazing food, amazing staff. You will be missed. No where else can even compare to the best craic you get when you go in here.”
The cafe will remain open until Saturday, and remain grateful for the support they have received from the last few years.
