Salford GMP are appealing for witnesses following an armed robbery at a premises on Chandos Grove, in Salford.

The armed robbery is believed to be a man acting alone, carrying a firearm, shortly before 10pm last night (December 10). 

The lone male walked into a shop on Chandos Grove, pointing a weapon at two members of staff demanding money before leaving the premises.

Salford GMP are appealing for any potential witnesses to come forward who may have additional information on the incident.

The police are looking for witnesses to provide a time, information if you saw something or any additional information which could help with the investigation. 

Detective Inspector Zoe Marsden, of GMP Salford, said: “These people were simply going about their daily business and did not deserve to go through such a terrifying experience.

We will not tolerate those who cause fear and intimidation in our communities, and who steal from our businesses.” 

Detective Inspector Zoe Marsden continued: “If you were in the area on Tuesday evening and saw or heard anything suspicious, we ask you to contact police on 101 quoting log 3428 of 10/12/24.”
