Eccles swingers club Adam and Eve’s is planning a rebrand to attract more diverse clients.
Owner Kerry Voellner is giving the 40-year-old club, which was featured on the Channel 5 documentary Adults: 24 Hour Sex, Up All Night, a new lease of life.
She said: “Adam & Eve’s is going, We’re having a complete rebrand and renovations to create a more inclusive environment, opening our doors to more people in the fetish, kink, adult and LGBTQAI communities.”
Kerry says the new club will aim to move past the stigma associated with Adam & Eve’s and challenge common misconceptions about the swingers’ lifestyle,
The new club will be extended after Christmas for a major refurbishment to welcome members and guests old and new from April 2025.
Kerry insists the club will remain a social club at heart. Many volunteers help her run it, with the oldest being aged 72.
No stranger to controversy, in the summer Kerry made news in the national and worldwide press with the Swingathon festival held in Lincolnshire.
Kerry recalled: “We woke up at the festival to huge press coverage. LadBible, The Telegraph, The Daily Mail and The New York Post all ran the story.
“Swingathon began as a modest festival but it’s much bigger now. It’s like any music festival with an element of swing and kink.
“Festivalgoers have a sense of freedom. There’s a strong sense of community and this is why so many come each year. I’m a strong advocate for demystifying who we really are.”
Kerry has also found time to gain a modelling contract.
She said: “I have also been approached by a movie producer to have a featured extra role, ironically enough. Although we don’t have strippers at the club, I will be playing a role within a gang of strippers in the 1800s. We are filming the trailer early 2025.”
Kerry is passionate about promoting the lifestyle and encouraging acceptance.
