A Salford church was able to capture a festive atmosphere this weekend, as they hosted a Christmas fair.
The Christmas fair that was hosted on Saturday 30 November, was one of the various events during the festive season that invites the whole community.
The event held welcomed visitors St. John’s church and offered an amazing atmosphere welcoming families from the community into the church,.
The fair was selling arts and crafts, cakes and various other activities for people.
The event was very busy, and saw a great reaction from the public, as Reverend Rob Jackson said: “We were busting at the doors it was very well attended.”
The community seemed to really enjoy this event at St John’s, Father Jackson said: “The cake store ran out, and his wife’s arts and crafts table was busy all day.”
Rev Jackson is hoping that St John’s amazing atmosphere is once again the host to another likeable event.
There will be also be another opportunity for people to get involved, with the church offering an open air community carol service on December 12.
The event that will take place at 6pm outside of the leisure centre, with everyone welcome to take part in the service and continue the festivities.
All of the local churches are organizing this outdoors event, as Rev Jackson said: “That the brass band are playing, and there will be carol singing outdoors together.”
All the churches including St John’s are hoping for a good turn out, and everybody has a great time who do attend.
