sustainability showcase at the new adelphi

A sustainability showcase will be held this December to show how research, and industry projects are supporting local  businesses and communities. 

The event at the University of Salford’s New Adelphi building will be open for businesses and experts to attend.

The showcase will be hosted on December 4, and will feature an international line-up of experts from across different areas of the University.

Doors to the event will open at 8.45am, and will be open to guests from 2,45pm, and will cover topics including sustainable infrastructure, automation and artificial intelligence.

The event is aimed at businesses and experts, but is open to anyone interested in sustainability.

Attendees will be able to tour the University’s facilities, including the Energy House Labs and the Centre for Sustainable Innovation.

The event will look to showcase the future of sustainability projects, and allow those in attendance to collaborate with one another.

Ahead of the event, Professor Mike Wood, Associate Dean Research and Innovation for the School of Science, Engineering and Environment, at the University said: “The Sustainability Showcase at the University of Salford aims to highlight how our research and innovation are making a real difference in the world around us.

The showcase will take place on December 4 at the the University’s Peel Park campus, with tickets are free and are available here.
