Women’s Circle set to raise £500 to children’s charity

A women’s relaxation circle has raised over £500 for an Eccles Children’s Charity. 

The group offers women a safe space to be seen with no comparison or competition, a time for them to relax, reset and unpack their worries.

The circle allows those involved to meditate through the use of of sound instruments that will have you experiencing and releasing new emotions.

Following this will be a cacao ceremony, a magical drink which will “open your heart” during a guided meditation ending with an angel card pull and mood-boosting dance.

The space will be a deeply calming and magical space, cleansed by sage, and filled with a special shared experience.

The group session will be run by Radiance Reiki on November 28 at 7 pm at the Coach House in Salford, with part of the funds raised being donated towards Destination Florida Children’s Charity based in Eccles.

The charity, Destination Florida Children’s Charity, aims to provide a “once in a lifetime” holiday experience for children with life-limiting conditions living in the north of England.

The charity aims to provide funding for children and offer a magical time in Florida that can be cherished by both parents and children.

With £500 raised already, Radiance Reiki shared why the charity is important to her and why she chose to dedicate this circle to funding it.

As she said: “I am passionate about the charity as it is local, and it gives magical trips to kids with life-threatening illnesses to Florida.”

She talks of the struggles women experience daily, expressing the relief her women’s circle can provide the women of Salford with.

Adding: “As women we have so much to deal with, being a good wife, daughter and mum, we balance work and home life, we have demands of looking good, women don’t have much time at all to themselves.”
