Swinton Lionesses have appointed Paul Humphries as their new head coach ahead of the upcoming 2025 season.
The club are hoping to establish themselves as a competitive league one side, and progress up the divisions.
This is a step up for Humphries who joined as an assistant manager in November 2023.
He said: “It is a privilege and an honour to lead the Lionesses into the 2025 season.
“This season is about commitment, hard work and the pursuit of excellence.”
He believes the players have the ability to progress.
The club added: “Paul Humphries brings a wealth of experience to the role.
“With a background that spans years of involvement at both amateur and professional levels, Paul has gained recognition for his innovative coaching methods, tactical skills, and his emphasis on fostering a strong team culture.”
The club has had a complete reshuffle of management, with Swinton also announcing the appointment of Paul Wood Sunday (October 27).
Paul will be replacing Steve Thirkell, who joined in August 2023.
Supporting Humphries in the new role is team manager Gary Meacham, whose strong management skills will ensure smooth operations for the squad.
