Director Steve Moyler said: “In the ‘The Time Capsule’ I wanted to capture how Toasted – one of MediaCity’s first occupiers – are in the business of time collection.
“This time capsule of a business is surrounded by the echoes of our musical legends and more – stories of history, collected with love and are stored right in the heart of MediaCity.”
The docuseries will allow members of the public to engage with the creative and digital projects made in MediaCity and listen to the unheard voices.
Caroline Aikman, director of marketing, brand and place, said: “This is the first time MediaCity has commissioned its own docuseries to tell the stories of the people behind the most fascinating creative and digital projects made in MediaCity.
“We knew Steve’s creative approach to telling our stories would reflect MediaCity’s reputation as the home of future media and immersive technologies in a unique and watchable way.”
The first episode of the series is out now on YouTube.
