A new family-friendly trampoline park is expected to open its doors in Salford Quays early next year.
The brand new indoor activity park, Oxygen Activeplay, is set to move into the Quayside shopping centre after a £2.5 million investment.
The park will replace the former site of the I’m a Celebrity Jungle Challenge.
Oxygen at MediaCity will be their tenth indoor activity park to open across England, and will be filled with the latest state of the art equipment and activities.
The site will encourage children and families to visit and stay active through the easily accessible parks.
The new indoor park will also be beneficial as it looks to offer 50 new local jobs, including party hosts, bouncers, and members of the management team.
Located opposite the bustling food hall Kargo MKT, the recent investment will feature more than 30 trampolines, a mega air bag, and Oxygen’s signature Excite Tunnel, an illuminated, sensory experience.
The exciting new features in the trampoline park are not the only thing to look forward to, as Oxygen have said more additions are set to be released over the coming weeks.
The activity park also promises to be the perfect place to host parties, and birthdays for children and teenagers.
However, parents will be able to sit back and relax at the facility with comfort overlooking the play area, as the activity centre will feature a café, serving delicious drinks, snacks, and meals.
The park will be open for all ages, and seems to be an exciting new opportunity for the younger generation to enjoy.
Ahead of the opening Stephen Wilson, Chief Executive Officer at Oxygen Activeplay, said: “With Oxygen at MediaCity being our 10th park, we knew we had to do something really special.
“We have some really big and exciting plans.”
He continued: “We couldn’t think of a better home for the newest addition to the Oxygen Activeplay family.
“We’re beginning the build very soon; we’ve already started recruiting for our new Hero Crew and the countdown is well and truly on for our opening in February.”
