A Salford five-year-old boy will take on the Tough Mudder challenge to raise money to benefit an animal sanctuary.
The fundraiser has already seen Rory raise over £2,400 for the Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary, as he will crawl through mud, and climb through obstacles.
Rory will take on the Little Mudder challenge on October 19, hoping to help animals without a home, and supporting dogs with poorly legs.
He will be supported by his family, taking on the challenge with his older cousin Noah, who is raising money for cash for kids.
His mother Jennifer, 35, said: “We are always super proud of him, but we are so glad that everyone else can see what an incredible kind boy he is.”
She continued: “He’s very excited.
“He wakes up everyday asking how many sleeps it is until tough mudder.”
He was inspired by his dad who will be looking to complete his fifth tough mudder, and his uncle who will be aim to complete his ninth.
Rory is taking his preparations seriously, with Jennifer saying: “He has been practising his monkey bar skills at the park, and doing his obstacle courses.
“He has been eating lots of brocolli and carrots, even sweetcorn which he doesn’t usually like to make him big and strong.”

The fundraiser was set up to support Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary, set up in 1957 by Olive Lomas, who saved a donkey named Maudie from slaughter.
The charity now protects and offers support to 350 animals across the North West of England.
Jennifer said: “Rory is absolutely over the moon with how much he has raised.
“We only set a target for £100 and got to £300.”
His generosity and determination have captured the hearts of the community, as well as Gemma Atkinson.
The English influencer, radio presenter, and former actress and glamour model, donated £100 to the challenge as the official president of the charity.
And was able to help share the story to her followers, as Jennifer shared: “When Gemma Atkinson shared his story we got so many more donations it’s amazing.”
With the figure currently more than £2,400 from 308 different donators his first reaction was to ask, “How many dogs do think I will be able to help now.”
